I know theres a couple nurses out there that might be reading this.. so read this and leave a comment please
For a couple days I have had a pretty bad fever and getting chills, sometimes waking up at night sweating. I wasn't sure what to do so I just prayed and asked God whats up and wouldn't you know it... I woke up today and walked over to the orphanage and right next door they are having a free medicine give away for all the people in the area. So I stood in line told them what was up and this is what they gave me..
Bactrim - it is 2 bottles of anti-biotics in liquid form. And he told me to take 2 spoonfulls every 2 hours until the bottles are gone. The doctor also said something about not eating chicken. So I was wondering if he thought I might have gotten salmanila poisoning.
I looked it up on the web and it looked like what I needed but just wanted a second opinion. Thanks!
God bless

Hey Kev! I hope you feel better soon. It's so cool to see how God provides exactly what you need when you go to Him first! Sounds like you guys had a great teacher appreciation day! We had a great 4th with Brandon's dad. Bella showed off her swimming skills and we watched the usual fireworks. We did miss the amazing show that you normally put on for everyone with our own fireworks though!
Love you!
Kevin, I wish I was a nurse or a doctor, but I'm not. I just hope and pray you get better. Drink lots of well purified water. I loved looking at your video. Your mom gave my your blogspot address. Dennis and I will keep you in our prayers. It is so cool to see how God is growing you up. It is even more cool that God is never done growing us up. I loved your comments about the sermon about the clogged wells. We have to stand guard around our wells so the world cannot clog what the Holy Spirit wants to do thru us. Take care, Kevin, we will pray for your safety and for all the people God will touch thru you, The Lewis.'

You would think with all the medical issues we have had with Myer I would have a degree in medicine by now...but I am still medically ignorant. :)
One thing I know how to do is pray...so Kevin you are top of my list with God today. He is big enough to deal with every illness even when you are all the way in Peru. Love your blog. Keep walking in the ways of God...what an adventure He takes us on when we follow after HIM.

kev,
dad and i just arrived in canada,! We'll pray for you to feel better soon. I don't know what you'll eat if you're not to eat chicken. we're off to dinner and fireworks at niagra falls.
love mom and dad
Kevin,
Sorry to hear that you're sick. Take all the antibiotic as directed and if your fever doesn't go away in a couple of days go back to the doctor. Drink lots of fluids too. Chicken should be ok if it's fully cooked, but maybe avoid it for a while. We'll be praying for you. Get better!

Hi Kevin!
I am so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling so great. I hope that the medicine the doc gave you helps with a speedy recovery. Thanks so much for blogging. It is wonderful and inspiring to keep updated with what God is doing in and through his very obedient son. Way to go!
You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Kevin-
Hope you get to feeling better. How strange it is---I was in the middle of praying Saturday night and all of a sudden God put it (very loudly) on my heart to pray for you...and I wasn't sure what it was specifically for---but now I do!

Hey Kev...
I haven't checked your blog in a couple of days...it was great to read so much and see a video...that was sweet! :)I was really hoping you'd show the shower, those are very nice compared to China! hahaha.
It's so exciting to hear how God is providing for you...way to have faith and trust and then actually live it out! That is HUGE, brotha!
I pray that you feel better soon..drink a lot of water and sleep...and wash your hands!? Love you!
